One Wednesday in my Office

Last Friday afternoon( independence day), I went to my office to prepare my weekly schedule and I left Wednesday blank, meaning with no appointments for I allocate this day as "my clean my mess day'.

While browsing though each files, i came across the notes and card that i received from my subordinates and i got teary-eyed. I felt a sense of fulfillment knowing that I inspired my co-workers. How nice of them to give me notes and thank card...this is better than treating me to a burger or ice cream house ( where will i store the fats/calories, my waistline is running out of space like memories in computers)

How come everytime I arrange my stuff, i always feel good and that I have full control of my life. Planning is important in arranging your files/memos/ cards etc. There should be a system and such system should give me advantage of searching my files in the shortest time possible. The folders and envelope should also be color coded and neatly filed in my drawer...WHEW...i had spent 8 hours arranging my files...but it's all worth it. Problems encountered? I don't have some office tools/supplies...so i use my revolving fund to buy these items:

You will notice that there is a listing for the files stored in each enveloped that are categorized for easy access. Listing has column for Description of each folder that contains memos/letter/other office related documents, date filed, 2 columns for Retrieved and Endorsed to/Date, Returned and Filed Date.

This is my day in the office. Thank you Lord for this Job...I feel great....
